5 Reasons Why I Should Go On The Cruise:
1. I have never been on a cruise of any kind, in my life. I have always wanted to, but I figured it would be after my kids are all grown and my wife and I are both over 60.
2. I own over 150 domains, but I don’t consider myself a domainer. I buy domains to develop them and put Adsense on them. That’s how I make my living.
3. I will probably be the only Mormon on the trip.
4. I have never attended a domainer conference before, although I have been really wanting to because I believe domaining to be a very stable business and if you know the right people it can super profitable.
5. I have been reading a lot of domain blogs (Morgan Linton, Chef Patrick, Frager Factor, etc.) and have wanted to meet some of the people behind the names.
I have been thinking about attending the DNcruise and after meeting Gregg & Morgan at T.R.A.F.F.I.C Dublin (my 1st domain show) last week I would love to finally meet yourself Patrick.
I think I can bring an interesting edge to the Cruise as I focus on ccTLD investment and monetization (as well as my TLD portfolio) and up for some laughs too!
Cheers,
Alan

Unfortunately you do not qualify because you have been to a domain event already. Thanks for entering though, appreciate it.
What do u do on these cruises? I’ve been domaining for more than 10 years and I live in Fort Lauderdale.
We will have fun, network and hold conference sessions. This is the place to share your passion about domains with like-minded individuals.
I want that free cruise..Never been on one…It will be the best thing that ever happened for the both of us..I can give you over 1200 powerful local and global reasons why you should pick me.. 1. I am a startup 2. I own a very powerful World and local Domain network 3. what I own stands out in the domain crowd, and is a powerful unmatched global and local marketing masterpiece. 4. I could use great partners 5. I think I could like you…and more than 1200 other reasons…
After 13-years in this industry, I have never been to an event or been on a cruise. So it would be two firsts for me… There are probably others that are more deserving than me, but it would be wonderful to finally meet the people I have been talking with all these years.
Great and awesome wow wonder~filled day …
I have been domaining since (if we count from first registered name … 1998) and have never been to a conference … currently have registered almost 500 names – YIKES!!!
I have never been on a cruise ~ AND if chosen ~ must travel alone as everyone who *could* travel with me will be booked solid with work, school and other stuff.
I’m a US citizen ~ but do not have a “current” passport
If I don’t get me domain names working my dearling husband says I must get a job …. OMG!!! {argh … didn’t that just sound like a sea-faring domainer now
}
Have awesome fun and great ideas as you go forth with choosing your winner(s)

Chef,
You have too many rules and they excludes me.
If I can scrape up the $$$ I will be there.
Looks like you have a good set of speakers lined up.
Which rules exclude you?
Ahoy Captain Chef Patrick!
While I am still making a step into the industry (web development and domaining for about 4 years), that has not prevented me from purchasing a good number of domain names and attempting to really learn the industry; especially for someone that does not have a “big name” in the industry.
As of this point, looking at the dates, being able to attend the cruise should not be an issue for me if selected. Traveling alone is also not an issue at all!
I believe the opportunity to be a part of the industries first conference on a boat (as you put it) would be a great first experience. To top that off, I have never had the opportunity to be on a cruise!
The privilege to network with the speakers, big wigs and yourself would be a fantastic experience; not to mention a great entrance and, if you will, welcome to the industry.
Thank you for your consideration Chef! Hope your trip to Germany was great and back was safe!
Best,
Chris
Here’s my video entry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P8px18rGQM
What’s up Chef Patrick and the domaining community? After graduating university, I have been busy travelling the globe and living in the shadows of domaining giants. I have recently settled down and am on the verge of exploding onto the domaining scene (not just in names, but in development as well).
Reasons why I should be on the cruise:
I am very business minded, yet open and hope to work alongside others in the community to share in knowledge and wealth.
I have spent all my money on domain names and will not be attending a conference unless I can go for free
I am Canadian and we all know the best domainers are from Canadia!! (ie. K-Ham & Schillster)
Despite all my travels, I have never been on a cruise.
I am the best looking domainer in the industry today.
– good effort on the video bud)
(Mike Law is a geek
I meet all the criteria, I’m a fun guy who is great to be around and most of all – I need a break from my girlfriend.
In all seriousness, I have decided to focus my business on domain name investment and online marketing and hope to become an avid contributor to this niche industry regularly. I look forward to meeting you all over the years to come. Do you smell what I’m cooking?
Love,
Brad
Why You Should Pick Me
My plan: Sept. 1, 2010
Invest more time and money in domain business.
Buy/sell ‘drops’ and build more sites.
Learn to build better web sites or hire Pro-web designers.
It is a must for me to know domain business from A to Z.
Make a killer “blog” equal to my mentors, not in any order:
Chef Patrick
Randy F
Rick & Rick T.R.A.F.F.I.C.
Attorney Howard New
Morgan Linton
Elliot’s blog
and many more …
Try to produce new innovative content as a Pro. Web and Literary designer would.
My goal is to be in the best in the Top 5% of the domain world.
Help educate newbies and old pros needing to learn new tricks!
My interests are, learning from and meeting the best in the domain business.
Brand myself, build web sites, flip domains, blogging and affiliate marketing. Networking on a plus-plus relationship. Also would like to get into video and producing fun flicks and money-making ideas.
P.S. Unlike some contest candidates I have never gone to any other domain event.
I’d like to attend the cruise. I’ve been active in the online business since the days of Bulletin Board System (BBS) and through the years I have accumulated plenty of domains, yet as hard as I try to become more active in the domain industry I always feel I could raise my game. The cruise looks like an excellent opportunity to learn, network and grow in a relaxed environment. As long as I’ve been domaining it seems I have never taken the time to attend an event or workshop in the industry.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter and good luck to everyone that enters.
My compliments to the chef…
Patrick,I have never been on a domain event before. This would have been fun. Sorry I missed the deadline. Did a 12 hour shift and will get paid bookoo bucks holidaypay next payperiod.
5 reasons why I should be considered…
1. I’ve hand picked as a hobby nearly 4 to 500 (yes more than “4″ lol) domains since 1999.
2. I would rather have a programming ego than boxshell myself to being stuck with a domainer ego instead. Anybody can reg a domain. It takes balls and strength to develop.
3. It would be fun. I hate being “stuck” to a certain geographical spot for too long and going some place out of the blue would put more momentum for different development quest hopefully.
4. I got a quazi famous name. Although I’m not the same Robert Evans that produced the Godfather movies or the Two Jakes. I also supposedly owned my own restaurant that I never knew anything about. Go figure.
5. If I could take my girlfriend with me, it would easily be a brownie coupon redemption good for 7 or 8 future fubars. Lol
Hope this entry still gets considered.

And the winner is…??
The anticipation is killing me
Sorry for the delay. I’m am really torn between a couple people. This is not an easy decision. I will make one today!
