Sounds like a great day! Great sale for Rio.com!! Once again – wish I was there
Enjoy the festivities tonight and say hello to everyone for me!
Never heard of Rick Sanchez.
Me neither, lol. From my understanding he was very popular with the whole CNN race to a million Twitter followers.
Looks like a good time. Did they have those three “Shark Tank” presentations pre-determined or did they run out of a time for others?
Pre-determined. There were four total but one did not show.
Curious what issues there were with DevHub? Kinda disappointing that none of the selections got funding. Sounds like they overshot a bit maybe, but it seems like those issues should have been filtered out in the prescreening that they did.
Thanks for the update.
@theoretical: DevHub sounded like an interesting prospect, but their staff member wasn’t very effective in presenting the case. Anyway, before the session started, Rick or Howard or somebody predicted that it would take three years for the “Test Track” idea to really hit its stride, and I think he was right – the brave guys who made their pitches today will help future presenters be better prepared for the challenges they will face in making their business case.
P.S. I sat next to Chef Patrick himself at a Skenzo party poker game last night. Next time he raises my blind, I’m comin’ after him!
Good job covering this Chef, we need more party pics bud!
I personally didn’t take pictures because I wanted to sit back, enjoy and give people their privacy with drinking.
Looks like a great time! Keep us updated.
thanks again, chef. looks like everybody’s enjoying their seats.
don’t know Rick Sanchez, but with a CNN man coming into the TRAFFIC picture, it means something. good for the industry.
now i wish i could attend TRAFFIC in the future. something exciting being with birds of the same feather.
AS I mentioned to Mojito Rick Sanchez was very popular with the whole CNN race to a million Twitter followers. Also Rick Schwartz has a relationship with CNN, he sold them iReport.com for $750k.
You should definitely try and make a show when you can. It’s worth it!
