No offense to Michael Berkens – no question he deserves the hall of fame nod for example – but I’m curious what the reasoning was for being the domainer of the year this particular year. What did I miss?
Michael Berkens is a domain genius! He has an amazing portfolio of domain names.
Check out his cover story on DNJournal.com, http://www.dnjournal.com/cover/2009/july.htm.
Oh, there’s no doubt about anything that you said… and I think the Hall of Fame award was perfectly fitting, but my question was regarding “Domainer of the year“. Besides blogging, what did he do this year that they pointed to as deserving the award or was it simply “look at that portfolio”?
You’d honestly have to ask the domain community. They are the ones that voted him as domainer of the year.
Thanks for the great coverage of the event.
Thanks Chef,
Cook up a great re-cap for us.
thanks

Where’s the New Comer Award? and where’s Aaron?
How were the vost cast?
Newcomer award was not on the list. Guess they figured there were no newcomers worth mentioning
