Save Money With Promo Codes

Posted on 21 May 2010

I love to save money whenever I can in regards to making purchases in general. This rings true with my domaining ventures as well. I think most consumers, myself included, want to feel like they got a good deal when they buy something. Granted sometimes we just can’t get around how much we might have to spend because someone else’s pricing is not in our control. When I find coupons or promo codes that I can take advantage of, you can bet I use them! In fact, I use them all the time. A little frugality can go a long way.

We all know the registration and renewal fees can get astronomical at times. This becomes especially true when you have a portfolio with hundreds or even thousands of names in it. I personally have let names drop because of a high renewal fee I wasn’t willing to pay at the time. Sometimes though, I find good promo codes that ease the cost a little letting me keep some money in my pocket to use elsewhere. It is possible to save while domaining.

Now if you haven’t done this already, finding promo codes can be as easy as Googling the name of the company and adding the terms “promo codes” in the search with it. There are many websites out there with promo codes you can use.

I specifically wanted to share a site with you named DomainPromoCodes.com. A site like this can help you save a little money here and there with the promo codes that are offered. The basic premise of the site is to save while domaining. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

If you check out the site, you’ll see it seems user friendly and is dedicated to doing nothing other than providing domainers and other consumers with promo codes for saving money. There are promo-codes for most of the industry’s main registrars like GoDaddy.com, Moniker.com, Name.com, Yahoo.com and many others.

Currently, there are many promo codes being featured, such as:

* GoDaddy.com “goaz2001ai” promo code. With this code, you pay $6.99 to cover the domain name you are registering plus the ICANN fee, which gives you almost $4 in savings because the normal price is $10.69.

* Yahoo “199” promo code. If you use that one you can have your domain for $1.99 for the first year if you’re a new customer with them.

Those are only two examples of the many offers available. There are a variety of other offers to be used for many different types of discounts. There are just too many promo-codes on the site to mention here, but that gives you an idea of the type of deals you can get.  It is definitely worth taking some time to check out.

Domains Guru, Inc. Launches Domain Name Consultation & Brokerage Services (Press Release)

Posted on 15 February 2010

New company to provide expert domain name consultation for businesses globally

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) February 15, 2010 — Domains Guru, Inc. is embarking on an exciting new journey, with the recent launch of the domains consultation company. The company provides a variety of services that relate to the complex management issues of domain names in today’s marketplace.

DomainsGuru.com understands that in the competitive business world, having a strong and protected domain name is an integral part of a company’s success. As CEO Abdu Tarabichi explained, his team can walk you through the entire process of acquiring, managing and selling domains.

The company deals with the complex issues that people and businesses face every day when navigating the domain name industry, which has been called e-real estate in our changing world. As Mr. Tarabichi stated, “Just as a person would consult with an attorney when legal issues become complex, DomainsGuru.com can provide expert level consultation for this very specific industry. For example, we have consulted with companies who have had domains used or secured by their competitors. We assist our clients with weighing out their options, which can include alternative names that represent their brand, or explaining the actions that are within their rights if they feel someone has infringed on a company’s brand inappropriately.”

“We feel that the Domain industry is much like a new frontier for businesses to explore. Businesses need to look at domain names as online real estate, and ensure they make wise purchases that will put them in the right neighborhood and ahead of the competition online.” said Mr. Tarabichi.

The detailed services offered support clients from beginning to end. If you are planning your business, and want to secure the best domain name to drive potential customers to your site, or if you require monitoring of your existing domains to ensure no one infringes on your brand, DomainsGuru.com has the expertise. And, when it comes to managing your e-real estate, DomainsGuru.com understands the complexities of domain brokerage and recovery.

“To the inexperienced, buying, selling and recovering lost domain names can be confusing. Our team understands what fair market values are, and the processes of negotiation to ensure smooth transactions for our clients.” Abdu stated.

Abdu Tarabichi founded DomainsGuru.com in 2009, after seeing the challenges that businesses and individuals face when trying to navigate the more complex issues in the domain industry. Mr. Tarabichi has been working with domains since 2001, and has been an active participant in buying, selling and securing trademarked domains for companies worldwide. In addition to being the CEO for the Charlotte, NC based company Domains Guru, Inc., Mr. Tarabichi also manages the Domain Name Knowledge Base (www.dnkb.org), an educational site that provides valued information on domains.

DomainsGuru.com – Domain Consultation & Services

Posted on 03 February 2010

At some point we all can use a little help, right? I’m referring to anything in life. It can be with love, work, home projects or even in business. In fact, it’s not uncommon for businesses to hire consulting firms to help them either revamp what they’re doing or just to get some advice overall. It is not uncommon for me to call someone else up and ask for their advice or input into whatever I feel I need some guidance with at that moment.

Domainers like us are not immune to needing help. That’s why firms like DomainsGuru.com exist. In a nutshell, they are a domain name consultancy firm. What does that really mean? It means they offer a lot of different services having mainly to do with consulting. Here are some of the services they offer:

  • Domain Consultation – They can help you find the right domain for your particular business.
  • Domain Brokerage – They can help you buy or sell domains.
  • Domain Recovery – If you forgot to renew a domain of yours that you intended to keep and it got registered by someone else right after it dropped, they can help you get it back and avoid litigation.
  • Domain Monitoring – They can monitor a name you might have your sights set on or they can monitor names that can infringe upon the brand you might be trying to build.

They offer all that and more. In order to find out how much a service is you’ll need to request a quote and fill in their form with the necessary information so that they can gauge what you need. Incidentally, they are currently running a 20% off special for a limited time and have a promotion code of DGWIN20 that you can use to get that discount. We all need some help sometime!

ExpressBacklinks.com Link Package Giveaway

Posted on 07 January 2010

Whenever I am coaching someone in regards to their blog or website, I make sure to explain some things about SEO and how important link building is. We all know that we can’t make any money if no one is visiting our sites. Traffic is a fundamental necessity for the success of one’s site. Thing is, it’s a tedious and time consuming process. I know, because I’ve built my traffic organically. I can personally vouch for the countless hours I have spent building traffic to my site. And I haven’t even used all of the techniques available. If you don’t have the time and patience to build links you could always hire a company like ExpressBacklinks.com to do it for you instead.

ExpressBacklinks.com offers a variety of services and packages including leaving comments on either standard or high page rank blogs, web 2.0 property development and social bookmarking. I particularly like how they track their blog comments and only charge you for ones that were actually approved unlike other companies that charge you per blog comment whether it got approved or not. They have a 48 hour guarantee to have your backlinks delivered and best of all their prices are very reasonable.

If you are thinking about using them, you should know they have a lot of experience with backlinking. In fact, they’ve been providing corporate level backlink building for five years now. Only recently they decided to offer their services to any and all internet marketers, big or small. You’ll be dealing with a knowledgeable company, which is important because you want to get the best backlinking possible for your money. It’s an investment into your site that will hopefully help to render some more profits.

ExpressBacklinks.com is giving away a High PR Blog Comment Package worth $65 to one lucky ChefPatrick.com reader. All you have to do is post a comment below by  Sunday, January 10th at midnight EST and you are entered. I will then randomly select a winner on Monday. I will update this post with the winner as well as email the winner. Good luck!

P.S. If you opt into their list, you’ll receive Backlink discount codes and a free SEO Tips Newsletter.

UPDATE – The winner is T. I have emailed the winner to collect their prize. If I don’t hear back within 24 hours I will select another winner.
