Nipplegate Scandal And Photo Shoot Pics

Posted on 19 September 2009

Yesterday’s domain news video seems to have caused a little bit of a nipplegate scandal in the industry. At least that is what Jamie over at DotWeekly would have you believe with his blog post.

I apologize for anyone that tried to view the video earlier today. The video was taken down by YouTube and has since been hosted elsewhere and reposted to my original blog post.

Unfortunately I don’t think yesterday’s video came through as tasteful as it should have. Two mistakes were made, which I will admit to. First, the model was wearing what’s called nip tape at first, it covers the nipples. The nip tape was the wrong size and not working properly. I had four women in the room, including my wife, and asked their input. Every single one of them, including the model, voted she should go natural. The second mistake was the camera view, it was too close. When the camera was setup the model’s torso was in the picture, showing off more of an artistic body paint image and the rest of her clothes. When I replayed the video on my computer it was cut off. By the time I watched the video and realized I would have had to do it again, the model had changed and the photographer took down all of her equipment. As you can see in the pictures below it’s a lot classier with full image.

Would I do it again? Without a doubt, yes I would. What I’ve done is no different than the 2008 and 2009 Sports Illustrated body painted swimsuit edition, which are available at every grocery store in America.

I think all the chatter of a possible controversy with this video has taken away from the purpose of it, which was a WhyPark contest. Congrats to the winner which gets either a Kindle or Netbook, their choice. To find out the winner, watch the weekly news video.

Here are just a few of the pictures taken yesterday. Adults only! I am also working on some computer wallpaper/backgrounds that will be available on Monday.

This Is What Freedom Means To Me

Posted on 24 August 2009

My definition of freedom is being able to take my kids to their first day of school. Of course it’s more than just that, everyone knows I like sleeping until at least 10am, lol. But, I’d have to say being able to attend every event in my children’s life is one the most important benefits of being self employed.

Today, two years after my son Jordyn started school, it’s time for my daughter to do the same.

Aryanna “my little princess” entered Kindergarten.

Pictured below was my son’s first day of school, August 2007.

So why do I bring this up on a domain industry blog?
I want to say thank you to my readers and sponsors. I wouldn’t have this freedom without you guys!
