Some may argue the numbers and would say that we’ve sold even more. A few domain name sales not recorded in DNJournal’s YTD sales chart are Cricket.com ($1.7mil), DropShippers.com ($1.5mil) and Insure.com ($16mil). Ron Jackson does not include a sale that may have an increased value because of the established business/website on those domain names. If we were to include these domain names we would have doubled last year’s sales.
Good job domain industry! Now let’s see if we can beat these numbers next year.
A little bit of a different format for this week’s video. I am extremely busy with a few projects so figured now is the perfect time to try out my new Logitech Webcam Pro 9000. With it I am able to upload directly to YouTube with zero editing.

I think the redesign was done well. Very clean looking with eye pleasing colors.
I’ll admit though, I have not been able to locate recent sales which they used to highlight on the main page. In addition, the current redesign has less featured auction listings at first glance. In order to see the featured auctions you’ll need to either sit patiently while it rotates to the next set of domain names or click the more button. Once you are into the lists of domain names everything appears to be the same as before.

This very special video is sponsored by LuxuryNames.com. Make sure to watch the video, we’re talking limousines, a beautiful woman, Moet champaign and over $3,000 in LuxuryNames.com and DomainSuperstar.com prizes.
Sorry in advance for the poor video quality. We had no choice but to record video while in the limousine on the way to the airport. It was raining badly and we had to catch our flight. LuxuryNames.com knows how to do things in style!
Congrats to the LuxuryNames.com Auction contest winners!
Also a special thank you to David and J of Black Diamond Luxury Transportation for the ride to the airport in that beautiful Navigator limousine.
Yesterday DNN.com first broke the news about Photon Group’s updated takeover offer to Dark Blue Sea, the parent company of Fabulous.com. Photon’s previous offer of $0.30 per share was increased to $0.35 per share and free of all conditions.
At this point no details have been shared about any possible changes to the daily operations of Dark Blue Sea. One thing that is certain is this will end over a years worth of takeover talk. DNN reports a closing date of December 14th.
