My good friend and fellow domainer, Morgan Linton, with the help of Jason Thompson, are hosting their second Southern California Domainer MeetUp. The event will be held tonight, Monday, January 25th at 7:30pm at the World Cafe in Santa Monica at 2820 Main Street.
The guys are encouraging every domainer attending the event bring a “non-domainer” with them if possible, so we can share what we do and basically educate the masses, one by one. You all know I love talking to people who have no idea about what we do. Perhaps we’ll have some new domainers after this meeting.
The general topic of discussion will be “Setting Resolutions and Achieving Goals”. We’ll get to share how we achieve our goals and hopefully inspire one another. I will be attending the event and look forward to meeting everyone there. To sign up for the event click here!

After a having a great time earlier this week at Affiliate Summit and a day off in between, T.R.A.F.F.I.C. is here. One thing I do want to say is that I apologize for the photo quality. I did not travel with my better camera because of all the traveling itself. As you’ve heard I am away for 15 days which means I could only fit so much into the bags. lol.
Day one kicked off with attendee registration and a welcome breakfast at Hard Rock’s Ago restaurant.

Here is a breakdown of my first day at Affiliate Summit. Unfortunately there will be no coverage from day two. Why? To be honest I partied so hard last night that I didn’t make it to day two until very late. I will try to get some coverage of day three tomorrow and then a review article when the event is over. For some more great coverage and interviews tune-into Domainvestors.tv. Morgan setup his studio in the blog room and has done dozens of great interviews.

Affiliate Summit, which is being held in Las Vegas, NV from January 17th through the 19th, is officially SOLD OUT. They have sold over 3,000 tickets and 120 vendor booths. In my eyes, that is an amazing accomplishment considering the price of a ticket averaged around $1000! I think this speaks volumes about the size of the affiliate marketing industry. This is exciting to me because I can picture this happening for our domain community in the future.
Luckily I got my press pass last month. If for some reason you weren’t able to get a ticket, make sure to check back here for daily updates with plenty of pictures.

January 8th, 2010 –New Orleans, LA – Domainer Mardi Gras announced today that it will partner with Moniker® to incorporate a special showcase auction into Domainer Mardi Gras 2010, a premier domain names conference, scheduled for February 11-13, 2010, at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, LA.
