DNKitchen.com is no more. As you can see I created a completely new site with a new look and feel to it. Most of you already know me as Chef Patrick so this should be an extremely easy transition. Plus don’t worry, all the old links and feeds will continue to work.
I created this newer blog, honestly, because I wanted to talk about other things in addition to my main passion of domaining. Domaining is and will continue to be a main focus of mine. Without having to build 5 different sites I decided to just have one that I can talk to you guys on about those different things.
Another focus will be making money online. I want to see for myself if it’s possible to make the kinds of crazy money some of these guys out there are making. As I’m going through this adventure I want to be able to share it with you. The creation of this site allows for much broader conversations. Think of it as a one stop shop to talk about our passion, domaining, and then some.
I HOPE you guys enjoy the new site and will continue on this journey of growth with me. I am lucky to have wonderful readers like yourselves and hope you’ll trust me enough to see this change will make things more fun and informative around here.
I will post more tomorrow about my goals and the direction of ChefPatrick.com. To be honest the site change over took a lot longer than expected and I am really tired. I still have to add some links and a few tweaks tomorrow, in the mean time if you see something out of place please let me know by posting a comment.
Sorry I was not able to post the contest winner last night. A couple things held me back, besides the full day of Christmas shopping you guys didn’t make it easy to pick a winner. There were 300+ domain names submitted for the free mini-site. Besides that I wanted to name the winner via video blog, my first video blog ever. I’m sure I made some mistakes, I have never been in front of a video camera, hopefully you will enjoy and maybe get a laugh or two out of it.
Want to know who won? Well, you have to watch the video.
Let me know what you think, leave a comment after watching the video. Sorry if it is a little long, like I said, I have never done this before.

Don’t forget, leave a comment after you have watched the video. I am very curious to read what everyone has to say.
I am taking the day off tomorrow, it is Christmas. I will post again on Friday about the video and give more details about the SECOND CONTEST. Yes I said second contest, make sure to come back Friday.
Nothing to worry about, DNKitchen.com is not going anywhere.
I am talking about my personal blog. Before DNKitchen I started off writing about my personal domaining experiences on DomainSubway.com. Over time I have noticed the posts growing apart more and more to recently maybe once a month. I have decided to remove the blog and post everything on DNKitchen.com from this point forward. DomainSubway.com will be used strictly for my domain name portfolio, not all but most of it.
When you get a chance take a look at the revised layout and my domain name portfolio.
Sign up now for my weekly newsletter and dropping domain names list. Starting Monday I am going to email either once or twice per week a DNKitchen newsletter and FREE list of dropping domain names. I will personally be hand picking each weeks best domain names for my readers. This list is completely FREE and will only go out via email to my subscribers.
Unlike other domainer blogs that offer this service as a trial, I will be providing this service FREE for at least the next 12 months. One of our newest sponsors IPalert Services has given me full access to their deleting domain lists.
To sign up please look to the top left of this site, enter your email address and hit go.
Just like a real kitchen the head chef cannot do everything on his own. If you run a successful blog then you know what I mean. It is not easy manufacturing quality articles on a consistent basis. In fact it is my goal for us to create at least one or two articles a day. For this reason I have opened up my kitchen to the Sou-Chef program.
So far I am extremely happy! Last week this program produced two quality articles. The first article, “Short Domains – Both Sides Of The Coin”, was created by Reece Berg, a highly respected expert with four letter domains. Reece has already sold over 3,000 domain names this year. His most recent purchase which really excites me is LLLL.com. Yes, the real one! He just purchased it last week for $7,800 I believe. He is working on the site now and will be launching it very soon. The second article, “What Makes A Premium Domain”, was created by Jordan Brown, owner of DomainApple.com. Jordan has been domaining since 2003 and has bought, sold and brokered roughly 1,000 domain names. His site will soon be adding a state of the art auction application.
I am accepting applications for the Sou-Chef program as we speak. Qualified applicants must have a strong knowledge in the domain industry, be a proficient writer, own domain names and have profited from the domaining business. If you are interested please use the contact link in the menu to submit your information.
Before you ask what is in it for you, here is the answer. Writers will be allowed a small bio section under Who’s Cooking promoting their main site. Writers will also be given their own category for articles and allowed to sign articles with their main site.
