Of course I’m going to list my own blog, I love it. I personally believe it is the most well rounded blog in the domain industry. I do not report news on a daily basis but do provide a recap of the news every week. The blog has the standard text articles but also offers a weekly comic strip, video and now podcast.
DNJournal.com
The godfather of domain blogging, Ron Jackson is an amazing journalist. If a news story breaks you better believe Ron is one of the first to know about it. Ron has been quoted and featured in many major publications. DNJournal is widely known for weekly updated sales reporting. Ron Jackson attends every event in the domaining industry and reports on all of them. I personally had the chance to meet Ron and his wife Diana last week and it was a pleasure. Ron is the one person I look up to when it comes to our industry’s journalism.
DNN.com – Domain Name News
The team at DNN are putting out great stories day in and day out. I put them in a category with DNW.com, consistently putting out great articles and breaking news. I definitely enjoyed their April Fools Day articles, very creative.

Andrew Allemann has done a great job over the last four years with breaking stories and investigation work. Andrew is consistent and accurate with all of his information. If something doesn’t look right Andrew is in the trenches researching the facts and gathering information to provide an accurate report. Andrew has no fears. He called out Bob Parsons of GoDaddy resulting in an invitation on Bob’s radio show.

Elliot Silver is a highly respected individual in the domain industry. Elliot’s blog is well rounded when it comes to articles. Elliot shares some of his own experiences with development and domain sales. He is also one of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve met. I have emailed Elliot on a few occasions and he has been quick to respond with great information.

All Bloggers!!! If your blog is not on the list I am sorry. There are a lot of amazing blogs and there is just no way I could squeeze them all in my favorite five. Does this mean I only read the blogs listed above, no way. I read dozens of blogs every day.

Just a couple quick notes. I know the background is boring, I have something in the works for next week. I was able to shorten this video down to about 7 minutes, 5 minutes less than last week. Lastly I’m still researching some different podcast methods so you will be able to download audio only.
