Escrow.com is also aware of this, if there is any doubt use their service for transfer.
This makes me wonder if somebody shouldn’t build out an Amber Alert type of system for domains.

I read this earlier today and it has been bugging me.
Was this taken by someone who knew the owner, i.e. ticked off x-husband/boyfriend or was this hijacked by someone unknown to the owner?
Either way it is bad but if “anyone” can come along and do it, that would be really, really bad.
Luckily she has realized it and is taking action.

To my knowledge it was a complete stranger.
Luckily enough people have been notified now that will make a sale very difficult.
