Get Your Site Indexed with Google in 24 Hours

Posted on 09 October 2008

With all the development of MFA, Mini-Sites, and just development of site in general most of us are trying to find ways to pull in that natural traffic. This is very valuable traffic that some people miss out on when they park a domain instead of developing them. I am going to give you some tips on how to get your site in Google SERPs quickly, if done correctly under 24 hours.

#1 Submit to Search Engines
We all know that submitting to search engines can take a long time, but submitting to multiple search engines at once can help get your site crawled by smaller engines. This in return lets Google and the other giants know that your site might be worth looking at. This is not a huge one but may help in the end.

#2 Your Title and Meta Tags
These are extremely important in getting the rankings you want in the SERPs. Your title alone can pull in a couple extra keywords for you. The keyword in your domain is important, so are the keywords in your title and meta tags. Do your research and find highly searched keywords to use. Google Keyword tool is helpful with this. You can also check with wordtracker.

#3 Quality Content
Google is thirsty for quality content every second of everyday. This goes along with your title and meta tags. If you have a genuine quality article related to the keywords in your domain, title and meta tags Google is more than likely to explore your site on a regular basis hoping to find unique content.

#4 Social Bookmarks
I think this is important not just for the traffic you get but from the back links you acquire. The links are almost instant and it’s like Google has bots waiting just for you link every second of the day. Stumbleupon and Digg are the most important in doing this. Those two are a must and I have personally gained the most traffic from them.

#5 Build Links
This is the #1 thing I would suggest you do when you first launch a site. Back links show that the site is popular and needs to be crawled and be included ASAP. Basically if you get 10 back links in popular sites quickly those bots are bound to stumble on to your site quickly. Places like Stumbleupon and Digg are those sites. It is also important to build links on sites that are in your niche. Forums and blogs are top priority when building quick back links. Do not spam these places though making quality post will also make people visit the site and bots are sure to follow.

Follow these basic steps and see your site in the rankings in no time. These are practices I use every time I launch a new site. The turn around time on this is pretty quick and I have yet to fail. Just make sure that you post, think and create quality content whether it is a blog post, forum post, blog comment or just plain content on your site. Without quality you will not see results.

Good Luck!

    my favorite is dofollow social bookmarking and writing a blog post about the new site. Digg is quick and very effective but having trouble maintaining it as the power of digg goes down when it don’t get much linking from the main digg category page which normaly shows for 24 hours

    Great information that many of us seem to not bother with. It is very important to post regularly updated content… that is THE most important part of a website success, however it is also the most time consuming.

    but i heard building too many links in less time will set the alarms on and your website may get un-indexed by search engines. is it true?

    Great post- Original content is king if you want to have your website listed on the first page of google.

    Cloacking webpages is another good way to be listed on the first page of other search engines.

    I have 4000 (domain names with great content) that are listed on the first and second page of google.

    To achieve that page rank it is easy.

    I have done exactly the things you have mentioned and it does exactly that IN 24 HOURS. Thanks for pointing it out.

    @Build Links
    If you focus on making quality links in your niche you should not need to make hundreds of links over night. I usually spread around 20 to 50 links in a day and then do the other things i have written.

  7. I get lots of traffic from good domain names and link sharing

    Thanks for the tips. But can someone explain this. I wrote a post called ‘who is the oracle of omaha?’ – I wrote it 3 days ago but it still isn’t indexed by Google, even though there only 2 pages on Google with that phrase in them.
    But I submitted it to digg and it is indexed on Google as a digg page – it is no. 3 on page 1.
    So why is my blog nowhere to be seen, even though it has ‘oracle of omaha’ in the URL? Any ideas ?

    @Buffet Fan
    You have to do more link building than that. Try going to similar blogs and commenting on their posts with your URL as the name or in the comment. Plus try stumbling your site and posting on relevant forums and post with your site in the signature. Make it look like your site is the new thing on the block and google HAS to attend the party, then tell all their friends about you.

    articles are a great way of getting targeted traffic to your website
    posting to article directories in the appropriate niche can really make the change you are looking for.
