PremiumDomains.com Launches An Amazing Affiliate Program

Posted on 01 September 2009

This is an affiliate program like none-other.

What makes their affiliate program different than the others?

  • If you refer someone to sell their domain name on PremiumDomains.com you will earn 20% of the sales commission. I don’t know anyone else doing this!
  • If you refer the buyer of a premium domain name you get paid 60% of the sales commission. Again, I don’t know anyone offering this high of a commission on a domain sale!

The next question you’re asking is probably how do you join? The answer is visit PremiumDomains.com and submit to become an affiliate.

  1. Greg says:

a very desperate move in my opinion. he gives himself a lotof free advertisement & traffic via domaining, and he is still not selling domains? knowing how francois runs his domaining site, i would stay a mile from that affiliate program. i wouldnt trust him

  2. Chef Patrick says:

Greg I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine is a slightly different than yours though.

He owns Domaining.com and can really do anything he wants with it. That’s like saying you would be made at me for promoting my own portfolio site. I will agree that Francois has changed his mind several times on how to run Domaining.com, but with any new venture it is understandable. He has put a lot of money and time into Domaining.com.

I personally trust Francois to pay commissions if he say he will.

  3. Francois says:

    Greg,

You hide behind an anonymous name so unfortunately I don’t know who you are but your words clearly outline you not know a lot about our businesses or me.

I will try annyway to respond your questions:

There is nothing desesperate in our affiliate program at the inverse we simply want to try to fairly reward people that will help us list or sell premium domains.

For years we have been valuating hundred thousands domains so I know very well how top names are a very rare resource and how it’s difficult to decide owners to put them for sale. So it’s normal that a person that use of his notoriety, his persuasion, his relations, … to convince a premium domain owner be generously rewarded. You don’t motivate people to help you offering peanuts!
You know Greg, a month ago I was writting in FaceBook that sometimes it may look as difficult to list top names then sell them… the 20% for domains rferrals outline this fact.

Regarding the 60%, it’s the same. Some names will be probably sold thanks to our advertising campaigns, the others will be done by affiliates. Why should we pretend to make +20% profit on sales done by someonelse? Not only it’s idiot but it’s unfair. If we want to make more per sale then the thing do is try to sell the names ourselves.

For your information we don’t target domainers at PremiumDomains.com but end-users. If not convinced check out the domain prices and tell me if they are targeted to domainers. This is the reason why ads at domaining.com does not generate sales, because it’s not the matching audience.
For your information the moment we still not started to advertise the site out of the domaining sphere but this will come…

As you can see it’s simply day zero of the affiliate program… the amount of listed names is still short: Rome has not been built in one day!

If one year from now we are not selling a significant amount of premium domains monthly then I will authorize you to pest, but for the moment please refrain to do it just for express any frustration you may have.

Be positive Greg, I know it’s not allways easy but it’s really the only way to succeed.
