Earlier today Sedo.com reported the sale of domain name Pilot.com for $300,000. Whois history shows the seller under privacy and the buyer as DBS, LLC which may also be known as Hearst Entertainment & Syndication. Before looking up the buyer my initial reaction for domain use would be, as pictured to the left, an airline pilot. Now knowing the buyer, it could also be used for a TV pilot. A television pilot, also known as a pilot episode and series premiere, is the first episode of a television series. At the time of its inception, the pilot is meant to be the “testing ground” to see if a series will be possible and successful and therefore a test episode of an intended television series. It also appears based on the Whois records that DBS, LLC only owns 7 domain names making this a strong possibility of being an end-user sale.

and big potencial.
in this case the singular is better
Agree. Who knows, maybe they have a new TV show coming
I also initially though of airplane pilot use since I myself am a recreational pilot. Just wondering if Pilot Pens (pilotpen.com) could decide to file a UDRP and curious as to what would happen with all the inconsistencies we have been seeing in UDRP decisions.
I found a lost dog named Pilot yesterday.. lol
thats a fantastic figure for the seller ;O cheers chef!!
