Today I received word that there will be another a new entry into the domain financing market in the coming days. This is just in time for the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auctions in Silicon Valley the last week of April.
Not only is it extremely difficult to launch a successful financing company but it also takes some balls. In these economic times there is a lot of risk involved with financing a domain name.
To date only two companies have really made a success of it. Rick Latona whom pioneered this business with his company DigiPawn. Second to the business was Rob Alfano and Gregg Freeman with Domain Capital. Currently DigiPawn does 30 day renewable cash advances and Domain Capital does 3-5 year lease back terms.
What will this new company bring?
Well, I can’t tell you that yet. Believe me though, it will be a tremendous help to the domain industry with our current economic situation.
Stay tuned, company information and details are coming within the next couple of days.
