To bring in the New Year we have three six figure domain name sales.
With the help of social media, Victor Pitts, senior broker for Moniker.com, announced on Facebook the sale of Migraine.com for $125,000. This was a joint sale between Sedo and Moniker, with Sedo representing the buyer. Whois records still show the seller, Gina Presson, as the owner of record. It looks like Gina has owned this domain name for almost a decade and at some point it was used for the Florida Neurological Institute.

Congratulations to all the buyers and sellers.
Update: Migraine.com was a cooperative sale with Sedo.com representing the buyer.

Damn some nice domains there.
Hi Patrick,
migraine products are a multi billion business, in my opinion the price range is good for migraine.com but it could have been higher because of the onw word migraine plus dot com.
At least this is a nice sale but what is really shocking is the price for cooking games.
Congratulations to the sellers and the buyers, specially the buyer of migraine.com got a real bargain here.
Best regards
Chris
I’d take the first two but I wouldn’t have seen the value in CookingGames.
I am also missing the value in CookingGames.com.
I agree, most of us wouldn’t value CookingGames.com at $350k. But it’s clear the buyer and seller did.
cooking games – at least someone won the game. Big time
Reg fee name IMO – .com and all.
Perhaps someone is cooking the books??
Here it is in the buyers own words…

i have read the article. I know gaming is huge but never anticipated gaming within the cooking genre.
Stickgames – well if theres an industry for stick games, then theres type in traffic that can be monetised. Do people type in cooking games?is there a cooking games industry?
If there is, then i better head back to my cave.
I missed the comments over at Direct Navigation. When you own addictinggames and tons of other gaming domains you can afford to pay a little extra because you are one of the few people that can fully monetize the site. Thus the price. I get it now. It’s amazing what a difference a little information makes.
I sold Migraines.net during christmas, had offers in the past for more but I Wanted a quick sale. It made over 4000 in ppc revenue during the height of arbitrage. Sold it for 3000.
I see Sedo is also reporting the sale of Migraine.com . hmmm

I would think Moniker held the Escrow with Victor reporting it, but maybe Sedo did the escrow on it.
Yup, was a joint sale.
I am missing something on the price on CookingGames is way too overpriced.
cooking games is really cooking
