Towards the end of July I announced an upcoming domain auction brought to you by LiveDomainAuctioneers.com. The day has come, today they are holding their very first live online auction at 3pm PST, 6pm EST.
Some of the domain names in the NO RESERVE auction will be:
EmailSurf.com
ImageBytes.com
TestSurvey.com
ContractNurses.com
Jerud.com
TextSpy.com
AntiScams.com
MissionAlaska.com
MarketHomes.com
HotOrders.com
Make sure to check out the live auction for yourself. I’ll post any significant sales here after the auction.
Top 5 domain name sales of the auction were…
InsureFleet.com $750
MySignals.com $75
MarketHomes.com $65
RoadDoctor.com $20
MotelValues.com $20

Me and some other domainers could not create an account nor bid – it goes to “page not found” . The names I wanted to bid on , have already passed…
Other domainers had this problem?
John
I had this same problem John. I was interested in ContractNurses.com and LoBuy.com. That will teach me to wait until the last minute to have my credit card authorized, lol.
Not being funny but for an advertised domain auction, these have got to be some of the worst domains I have ever seen…
GUA
Give them time, this was their first auction. Like anything you want to test out the systems to make sure everything runs smoothly. I’m sure we’ll see some higher quality names coming in the future.
lol – good thing it didn’t work for us, I was also interested in contractnurses.com but the other one was SaveOurSpecies.com
John
Hope they succeed with this auction.
I learned another similar lesson the hard way. In addition to registering late (and missing a few names I really wanted to bid on), somehow the applet didn’t load properly on my computer – which prompted me to click around like an idiot.
Well, clicking around like an idiot somehow logged a winning bid of $5 for GlobalGreenList.com – a name I wouldn’t have bid $1 for…
Oh well, like everyone else has said – next time.
I saw chefpatrick advertisement for this auction on twitter right before it started. Never used proxibid before and figured it all out half way throw the auction and bought 3 domain names for $6.6 and put them on eBay yesterday. There already bid up to $5.5! 6 more days!
I think they are going to have another auction on the 30th. I never seen and online auction like that before and it was fun and auctioneer was cool!
