Great interview Patrick. Thank you. If I can ad one more thing about Elliot. He is a gentleman and a first class guy who spends a lot of time helping others. This is one person who will go far in this world.

What Elliot didn't tell you was that he has unique and rare qualities he utilizes in publishing his blog. To be able to mimic his powers, you need to have:

1) Elliot's innate ability to find premium domains using good sense and proper analysis
2) Elliot's writing expertise
3) Elliot's lovable personality and enjoyable disposition
4) Elliot's understanding to learn from other people's mistakes, including "E & A" (Ego & Attitude)... *ahem... not that I would be included in this group ;-) .
5) Elliot's willingness to tell the secrets for his success, and invite the noobs in to benefit from this. No other successful domainer, so new to this business, has possessed all these qualities to create the great reputation he has gained in such a short time. Forget the original "power players" who have eeked out millions of dollars in fighting to suck up thousands of domains at the turn of the century, or selling "networking parties" by producing conferences to only those who could afford over-priced tickets, Elliot openly invites the world to understand how to invest in domains in the current market (The tricks and procedures used by the early domainers six years ago or earlier no longer apply). His articles only enhance the value of domains investing, which benefits all domain investors.

I hate to admit it (as a fellow blogger), but Elliot is probably the one guy in the top 100 domainers who will have a long-lasting presence in our industry and will help us all receive greater value for our domains.

Congrats on a great interview with an important voice in this industry, Pat.

humbly yours,

Stephen Douglas

Kudos Chef for serving up a great interview.

As I mentioned in my own blog, reading Elliot's blog is one of the things I give credit to for enticing me to get into domaining.

Success stories like Elliot's give motivation to everybody.
