BANANA RAISIN NUT BREAD
YIELD: 2 LOAVES
INGREDIENTS:
| Flour, all purpose |
3 1/2 Cups |
| Sugar |
1 1/2 Cups |
| Baking Powder |
4 Teaspoons |
| Baking Soda |
1/2 Teaspoon |
| Salt |
1/2 Teaspoon |
| Bananas, ripe |
2 Cups - mashed |
| Butter |
2/3 Cup |
| Milk |
3 Tablespoons |
| Eggs, large |
4 Eggs |
| Walnuts |
1/2 Cup - chopped |
| Raisins |
1/2 Cup |
DIRECTIONS:
Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, Baking Powder, Soda, Salt. Add mashed bananas, butter, milk. Beat in mixer on low till blended then on high for 2 minutes. Blend in eggs and remaining flour. Stir in nuts and raisins. Bake in greased loaf pans for 55-60 minutes till done. 350 degree oven.
