All great except…..they should htaccess redirect the www to the non-www or vice versa….not great to have 2 different home page url’s….

There seems to be a bit of dissension regarding the extension. A passionate few love it while many domainers despise any domain which isn’t .COM. I’ll admit most of my sales the last six months have been .COM but we are slowly developing out a portion of the .TV portfolio.

Great article Chef. They’re definitely going in the right direction, football.tv. They are actually leasing the traffic from FootballScores.com – a domain I paid $37,500 for just over a year ago. They are going to be a big brand, I’m sure.

There is still time left to promote the website before this year world cup. It’s also great news for the .tv extension and for those that have great interest in this domain. Unfortunately I will not be renewing my .tv domains.

This was a proof-of-concept network of sites. The interesting part is that the reason he assembled this network of sites is to reach audiences in every major language group. The owner bought up “football” domains in many languages, got translation work done and built the first multilingual IDN network – that’s precisely why he chose a logo that features an image of a soccer ball instead of multiple logos with words in each language.
