I've been fortunate in my moderator role in the Namepros community to have been both able to help many people who've been scammed and learn from what scams have been attempted, now being able to offer suggestions on how to avoid similar scams in the future. Scamming methods are constantly evolving -- social engineering methods are becoming increasingly complicated, as are the international hacking networks which are playing an increasingly large role in cybercrime.
