Posted on 28 February 2009

This week’s video is being showcased at Domaining.com. In fact, if your not already aware of it Domaining.com is my newest video sponsor. They will be running the video on their site Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week. On Monday I will then replace this post with the video in order to archive it for future viewing.

Thank you to my readers and advertisers for your support.

Good video. I watched the whole thing. I can’t believe you don’t see the value in both interracial.tv and forums.com.

The adult industry connection should be obvious and there is a ton of money to be made off keywords. The sale was likely end-user but even if it’s not a resale can happen for a tidy profit in the years to come. The .tv extension is perfect for that type of domain.

Forums.com is imho a reasonable deal. Probably better for Adam than the buyer but it doesn’t surprise me that someone is valuing forums very high. As a holder of dozens of forum related domains I have sold plenty for $x,xxx. The internet is becoming more and more about communication where a decade ago it was more about information. As the internet becomes a social vehicle forums will continue to grow. I still find plenty of people that have yet to discover what forums are. Once people realize that being part of a niche community is beneficial, fun, and rewarding they will integrate it into their daily life as I know you have.

Great stuff Patrick and I will be back.
