This was the first auction I have attended at DNF. After talking to the guys on the forum they haven’t had one since September, not sure why though.
Overall I would say the auction went well, started with about 40 participants and worked its way down to about 20. The highlight of the night was the sale of STIE.com for $2,000.
Here are some of the other domains sold:
BOTB.com $420
AromaTherapySpray.com with AEIOU mini-site $250
NameChange.net $85
WIQS.com $40
BHHP.com $250
ForeclosureLoans.biz $30 (bought by me)
The .biz purchase is my first one, should make a great mini-site. Great keyword domain with high paying ppc.
Before I let you go, sign up for my newsletter. I am going to keep saying it, sign up. There are some gems that are being deleted and I am giving you the list for FREE. Once a week I send out a newsletter with deleting domain names. Don’t miss out!!!

BOTB.com is an absolute steal.
Atleast where I’m from, BOTB stands for Battle of the Bands. Its basically a competition to see which local fans have the largest fan base, and the winner gets a cash prize. But there is 100’s of BOTB’s every year.
BOTB.com was at auction?
Yes, all the band flyers where I’m from all had BOTB on them for battle of the bands. I’ve played tons of them
If I had paid more attention – I would have bidded on it….

BOTB.com just shows that it is very important for the owner of the domain to Promote it when it’s for sale. Never count on just the auction service to bring in the bidders…
$20 bill to a blogger that get’s a lot of eyes could of easily sent this domain into the $x,xxx mark if more people would of known about it…
Jamie
I definitely agree Jamie. And just think the selling owner of BOTB is the owner of DNF
Nice buy Patrick
