If you have ever registered a domain name with GoDaddy you know this feeling.

For the record I use GoDaddy for 98% of my domain registrations. This is just in good fun. They actually offer an express checkout option now. This is what it looks like.

Here is a link to last week’s comic strip in case you missed it. It was “Twitter and Facebook down time”.

Have an idea for my next comic strip? I’d love to hear it, post in comments.

So true LOL. You’d think after the hundredth time or something you’d earn the privilege of not having to clickety click click… Oh well, I still like Godaddy :)

Once you register one though, you know how to fly through it. Usually takes 1-2 minutes to register a domain for me.

Yea, that used to drive me nuts too… Course now I just skip all that nonsense. I login, go back to the home page, and instead of entering a name and hitting go, I click the green EXPRESS BUY button. A box pops up, then you enter the name and when you proceed, if the name is available, you go right to checkout.

Amen. Problem solved. Thank you GD! : )

Updated the blog post to showcase their express checkout service thanks to @buyselldomains and @godaddyguy.

Been there done that.. I agree though, once you have suffered through it a few times it goes a lot quicker once you know where to go, skipping all the extra crap :-)

Hmmm… makes me think they should come out with a GoDaddy premium account where you can have an option to just add the domain to your cart and checkout without all the clutter.
