Check Your Page Rank

Posted on 26 September 2008

You heard it here first, check your page rank!!!

I would say this comes to us all as a big surprise.  The last page rank update was only about six weeks ago on August 5th.  I discovered this purely by luck.  I happen to have the Goggle tool bar with page rank checker and when I pulled up this site I found an increase.  I then checked a few of my other sites to confirm and some have gained and some of lost.

I am pleased to say that this very site, DNKitchen.com which started out as a PR0 roughly two months ago has now been updated to a PR2.  Thank you to my readers and everyone who has linked back to me.

Let me also be the first to say SORRY to those of you who have lost page rank.  I have one site that went from a PR2 down to a PR0.  That is ok because it is my fault.  If you have a page ranked domain and do not develop or let is sit unchanged this will happen.

Oh and check again in the morning for those that have not changed.  I am sure they can’t get all the PR’s updated that fast.

Thanks, i checked my page rank earlier today and it was still 3, just checked and it was up to 4.
    Very nice !

  2. Scott says:

    Congrats on the pagerank!

Unfortunately for my site, which just hit 4 months, is still sitting at a 0. I was fully expecting a 2 with that last update especially with the boom my site has had these past 2 months.

    Go figure…

Sorry your page rank is not where you thought. Same here, I was hoping for a higher page rank, but still happy with PR2. My page rank didn’t change on DomainSubway.com, it is still a PR1. This is my fault because the site was not updated as often as I would like. Last month I was making some changes to the site and didn’t post much.

You know what, I just figured out why your page rank didn’t go up. You don’t have a link to DNKitchen.com on your site : )

Keep up the good work, I like the blog, very well written.

Very good point! DN Kitchen is one of the better of new domain blogs. I should’ve had it in my blogroll already. It’s been added :)

Hmmm gain 1 on my main site, and lost 1 on my second main site. I guess it’s good and bad mix.

saw ups and downs in pr of my sites when I got up in the morning… and was not sure whether I was still dreaming as there was a update just about 1 -2 months back :)
