SEDO DOES IT AGAIN!!!
Brazil.com sells for $500,000 through Sedo.com. At $500,000 this sale ties for the seventh largest year to date. It was just last week we reported the sale of Server.com for $770,000 by Sedo.
Brazil.com is an amazing Geo domain name and home of Victoria Secret super model Adriana Lima (pictured left).
Breakdown of the stats.
Google results: 272,000,000 (brazil.com holds the number five spot)
Google page rank: 5
Compete.com traffic: 2,084 unique and total visits
Alexa rank: 467,093
In visiting Brazil.com, it seems that a functional website is up and running. Archive.org shows a slightly different site from January 2008, but overall the same look and feel. I was also able to find a press release from March of 2008 announcing the launch of the website. Lastly the copyright at the bottom of the current site is from 2008. So I am going to assume that the current site came with the domain name.
It does not appear ownership has changed hands yet. Viewing the above mentioned press release from 2008 and the current whois information both show Communicate.com, Inc.

BTW…….something like the top eight paid models in the world are all Brazilian. I just read that recently.
